Evy and Steve Klassen
Evy and Steve Klassen together have given leadership to the MARK Centre from its inception. They believe that God speaks to people today in a variety of ways, and have written a collection of their stories in Your Ears Will Hear. They both love to guide people in listening experiences and facilitate short retreats. Steve is a trained Spiritual Director and meets with individuals for monthly sessions. He also speaks publicly, dramatizing stories from Mark that highlight God’s personal love for people. Steve and Evy have six children and a new daughter-in-law.
Dan and Sandy Thiessen
Dan and Sandy are lovers of Jesus and have hearts to see those who are called into ministry fulfill God's plan in their lives and further God's kingdom. They both have missionary and counselling background's and have a passion to encourage healing in individual lives. Dan and Sandy are the welcoming presence onsite at the MARK Centre.
Esthie Misner
Esthie works in our office Monday, Wednesday and Friday. She enjoys art, part time studies and volunteering at the Abbotsford Regional Cancer Centre. Her passion is walking alongside women as they deepen their relationship with God. Esthie was born and raised in Israel. She and her husband Marc have two daughters.
Jean Bergen
Jean likes being back in the neighborhood she grew up in while working in our office Tuesday and Thursday. She and her husband Harvey are the owners of Life Cycles Bike Shop. Jean enjoys being a mom of their four sons, a student, and having a good cup of coffee. She is delighted to join the MARK Centre in helping people hear God's voice.
Joy Rousay
Joy Rousay has recently retired from her role as Director of Operations
for the MARK Centre. Joy is continuing to use her strong
organizational and accounting gifts by overseeing the finances.
Cathy Hardy
Cathy's
passion is to create sacred space for the soul through silence and
through music. Cathy partners with the Mark Centre in offering silent
retreats throughout the calendar year. She has recorded 2 CDs with songs
inspired from the Taize community and in Spring of 2011 she released

Lorie Martin
Lorie has a passion to encourage everyone to know and experience
the intimate and interactive love Jesus has with us. At the MARK Centre Lorie leads half-day contemplative retreats and provides spiritual direction for guests on retreat. She lives in Abbotsford
with her husband of 30 years, Dwight, and they have 5 children.
